Welcome to Louis IX
This self-catering apartment for two has its own entrance on the east side of the château. The open-plan kitchen with dining table is next to the seating area with smart TV and wifi, and French doors open onto your private south-facing terrace.
As well as the private terrace, you have your own covered terrace where you can barbecue. Upstairs you’ll find the bedroom, with a double bed and a separate area for your luggage and clothes. As a guest you have access to the walled garden and the estate, with its woodland, meadows and small lake.

Where the name comes from
Louis IX was King of France from 1226 to 1270, and he is the only French king to have been canonised by the Pope. A few of his relics are still kept in the Collégiale St Louis at Castelnau-Bretenoux, the castle opposite us.
